Pau Durà, with a long career as an actor with dozens of films and television series, debuted in the direction with the feature film Formentera Lady, which after Malaga Film Festival will premiere in theatres on June 29.
The dramatic comedy written and directed by Durà tells the story of an old musician whose hippie life in Formentera is altered by the arrival of his ten-year-old grandson. It has an exceptional cast led by José Sacristán, Sandro Ballesteros, Nora Navas and Jordi Sánchez. The catalan production company Fosca Films (Son of Cain, Blue Lips) and the Valencian Sunrise Pictures (22 ángeles) produce the film, in co-production with Good Machine Films AIE and La Perifèrica Produccions (La vida lliure) and with the participation of RTVE, TVC , À PUNT and IB3.
